This Saturday and Sunday at The Forks and CMHR there are a ton of free concerts and events all day long!!
Saturday night from 6:30-9pm there’s A Tribe Called Red, Ashley MacIsaac, Bruce Cockburn, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Marie-Pierre Arthur and Shad performing on the Mainstage!
During the day Saturday there’s shows and events starting at 10am for the whole family! Kids entertainment and activites, skating demonstrations and much more!
Sunday the festivities start up again at 10am and there’s a ton more happening all day. See shows and demonstrations by the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Manitoba Opera and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet just to name a few.
All of the shows all weekend long are free! You can see the entire lineup here – there really is an amazing amount of stuff happening over 2 days. And I’d say plan ahead for how you get there – taking the bus, riding your bike, carpooling etc. seem like some pretty great options for those days!
