There are so many new ways to save while shopping – here are some of the easiest ways to use your smartphone to save at the grocery store!

Checkout51 – new offers every week on all types of grocery items. Purchase the item, snap a pic of your receipt and when you reach over $20 you can receive a cheque in the mail.

Flipp – to get all your flyers online, dowload the Flipp app. Very handy, you can look at all the stores or just search a specific item.

Co-op App – if you shop at Co-op grocery stores, they have all kinds of great deals and offers.

Coupgon – coupons that can be redeemed at checkout

CartSmart – helps you organize your shopping

Zweet – very similar to checkout51

Snap By Groupon – another one to get cashback

Ebates – earn money back for shopping online through them at your regular stores

Save.ca – coupons and flyers

Flyerify – another site for flyers

Which is your favourite site or app to use for shopping? How much have you saved?

  1. I use a combo to save the most. Coupons and cash back from Zweet and Checkout 51, and price match with Flipp as well have now started using Changio as well. Every little bit helps me save on average $30-$50 a week.

  2. I have just recently downloaded Flipp and am trying to get used to checking it. However I am also trying to manage my iCloud storage so that I don’t have to buy extra, and Flipp’s iCloud storage seems to be increasing. It started at 193KB and is now up to 250 KB. Is there a way to delete flyers I DONT want, or chose those I do want?

  3. Do you know where Coupgon can be used? I asked someone at save on foods and they didn’t know about it. They have some pretty good deals on there that I want to take advantage of.
