Odysseo by Cavalia in Winnipeg
I love the variety of great shows that Winnipeg has been getting lately.
Odysseo looks to be another amazing one! If you haven’t heard of it, here’s a little bit of info about it. “Odysseo is a two-hour waking dream that captivates audiences of all ages with a multitude of numbers performed by 65 majestic horses and 45 highly-skilled riders, acrobats, dancers and musicians. Imagined by Normand Latourelle, one of the co-founders of Cirque du Soleil, Odysseo brings the spectators on a magical journey during which they can experience a world where beauty, serenity, and hope reign, where humans and horses are living in harmony. Inventive, audacious and technically striking, Odysseo is a one-of-a-kind production where the spectacular meets the poetic, a pleasure for the eyes as well as for the soul. ”
This sounds sort of like a dream I’m sure a lot of us have had. If you’re a fan of horses or Cirque du Soleil this is a must see!
This show is so huge that they are building a giant tent at the corner of Sterling Lyon Parkway and Kenaston Boulevard. The show is so popular they added 2 more weeks – so it will run from Sept. 10th to October 4th.
Tickets are available on Ticketmaster – price range from $49.50 and up – there’s discounts for seniors and children too.
Stay tuned for a giveaway too! 🙂
