Manitoba Parks reservations for camping and cabins for 2015!

With this weather it’s a little bit hard to think of camping – but if you’re wanting to book a site through MB Parks or rent a cabin it’s time to mark it on the calendar! And time to look and figure out what you want too.

Reservations will open Monday March 23rd at 7am for cabins, yurts, group use areas and Bird’s Hill.

Regular campsite rentals will begin Monday April 6th.

If you’ll be registering online make sure to make your account early and test it out a bit, they can be a little bit finicky.

If you’re planning a family holiday or a bigger get together the cabin rentals are great! We’ve stayed at Camp Morton a few times and love their cabins – and the area is great for families too. The prices are super reasonable too, 6 person cabins are only $80 a night! For that you get a 2 bedroom cabin that has a futon in the living room too. Nice big kitchen and eating area with a table for 6. The cabins have bathrooms and there are showers in the campground. If you’re not into camping it’s a great option – or even check out the yurts. Cheaper, but no indoor kitchen.

So, mark you calendars and check out their site and make your choices ahead of time – spots go very fast on opening day!
