To celebrate Manitoba Day the Manitoba Museum will be having a bunch of events on Saturday May 10th from 11am to 5pm.
There’s free admission to the Museum Galleries,the Science Gallery and the Planetarium all day. There will be Manitoba themed events, a cake contest – and then some free cake of course!
There are several local bakeries creating Manitoba themed cakes – can’t wait to see what they come up with!

Last Sunday was a ‘free day’ for my husband’s union and it was soooo busy at the Museum. Be forewarned that this place will be packed, super lined-up and get there either really early or late in the day! if you are easily frustrated by crowds, then free day may not be the day you wish to go!
