May 25th and 26th it’s time for Doors open Winnipeg again! This is the 10th year for it, and there’s an amazing list of buildings to check out.
If you’re not familiar with it, you get to tour 80 historic buildings in Winnipeg – and it’s all free!!
You can check out their site for the times, lists of buildings etc. There’s a great selection all across the city, and it’s fun to get to see inside buildings you normally wouldn’t get to do so. You can see the complete list of buildings here – it’s pretty easy to figure out where you want to go, as it’s well listed by area.
I’ve toured buildings in St. Boniface before and it’s a lot of fun, you really get to learn a lot about the history and see parts of it that you didn’t know existed, or what it used to be.
Which buildings do you plan on touring? Any tips for those who are new to Doors Open?
