Disney’s ‘Mickey’s Christmas Carol’ – Review

14 Nov

MickeyMOne of my all time favorite holiday book is Charles Dicken’s “A Christmas Carol”.  This is something I would one day love to share with my children, unfortunately, they are a little too young to sit still to enjoy a good reading from the story itself over a few days/week.  So what does a mother do to share her love of a Christmas story to her children?  You find something that works for the family.

Here I am sitting here, thinking, what can I do?  VOILA! Disney’s Mickey’s Christmas Carol!

Perfect for my family!  My children LOVE anything to do with Mickey The Mouse (at least the younger two – my teenager will watch it if he has to).
So in this exciting children’s movie, Mickey, Goofy, Donald and all their pals star in a heartwarming retelling of Dickens’ unforgettable holiday tale.  Ebeneezer Scrooge (Scrooge McDuck) is far too greedy to understand that Christmas is a time for kindness and generosity.  But with the guidance of some wise ghosts (Goofy and Jiminy Cricket) and a bunch of newfound friends, Scrooge learns to embrace the spirit of the season.

I encourage you to share this wonderful holiday treat with the whole family, including some Christmas Carols you can sing along to with Mickey & all this Pals!

Now available on Blu-Ray DVD at a store near you!

What are some of your favorite Holiday songs to sing with your family?
‘Silent Night’ is one of mine, and the kids definitely enjoy ‘Jingle Bells’
