Bluewater Seafoods – Review and Giveaway

11 Mar

fish  Bluewater Seafoods has some great recipes on their website, and asked me to try out a gluten free one. I wasn’t quite sure how fish was gluten free etc. at first – but there are certain packages that aren’t breaded, therefore gluten free. My husband and I were pretty confused at the store, I was looking for a gluten free logo on a certain package – guess people just know fish is gluten free 🙂 When you look at the recipes on their site though, it makes it pretty clear.

We tried out the gluten free taco recipe from their website – they have a nice selection of recipes there, kid friendly, appetizers etc.

This was super easy, cook up the tilapia and make some tacos. Always good to have a few gluten free recipes up your sleeve for guests etc. and this one couldn’t be easier and it’s definitely kid friendly. I love the convenience of frozen fish – easy to keep in the freezer for quick meals, or to be more creative with them with the recipes on their site. I often just cook fish as is and serve it with fries for the kiddo and she loves it. And if your family has someone who doesn’t eat gluten you will like these quick recipes, and always fun to be able to try something new. Gluten free doesn’t have to mean boring, or be completely restricted and their selection really shows that. There’s gluten free fishsticks, a soup, even some fish crepes.

And so you guys can try out some of these recipes yourselves, Bluewater is giving away 3 prize packs – each winner will receive a Bluewater full price coupon and a cute shopping bag that folds into a pocket and has a little clip – very convenient. (we received the same fpc the winner will get, no max value or date so a breeze to use)

To enter, check out Bluewater’s recipes and comment with which one you’d like to try.

To earn a 2nd entry, tweet out the link to this giveaway and comment that you did so.

Giveaway open to all Canadians and will end Wednesday March 13th at noon – good luck everyone!

  3. I think I’m going to make sandwiches, I don’t know why I never thought of this before! Honey Mustard Beer Batter Fillet Sandwich. Blue Water fish is on sale this week at Sobey’s, I was going to pick some up anyway!
