Updated list for 2015 Winnipeg Birthday Parties!

If you’re planning a kids birthday party, here is a list of all the best places in town: –

Dress Up and Play Parties – if you’re looking for a super well put together party, and a stress free and relaxing day for the parents check her site out. Cindy will handle it all, just pick your theme and you’re on your way to a super awesome party! She does kids birthday parties, showers, special events and more. You can even do parties where kids get to keep their costumes.  We’ve used her for parties and she’s great and the kids love it!

U-Puttz Black Light Mini Golf – if your kids are fans of mini golf, this is a great place for a party. You can book a 2 hour party, you get invitations, glow necklace, lootbags, food and more.

Manitoba Children’s Museum – you can book all types of parties here, even group sleepovers!

Gymkyds – if your kid is a gymnastics fan, or you really want to tire the kids out, this is a great choice. A few different party packages, even some that include it all.

YMCA – The Y offers a variety of options for birthday parties. I know from experience that they book up quickly, so phone way in advance.

Winnipeg Humane Society – A fun idea for an animal lover, tour the shelter and meet some animals.

Western Canada Aviation Museum – tour the hangar, get a choice of a craft activity, and much more.

Heartland Archery – 2 different party packages available. Sounds like fun, and always nice for kids to learn a new skill.

Creative Stage Emporium – all kinds of dress up parties, with themes like diva runway, princess palace, neverland etc.  Good for girls and boys, looks like a fun party!

Sheriff Cosmetics – girls makeup parties, all kinds of packages available.

Lasertopia – this is a new one, not open yet but sign up for their mailing list to find out when they do.

SkyZone Indoor Trampoline Park – this one is opening up soon, and can see it’ll be a hot spot for parties so book early.

Prairie Exotics – they will come set up at your birthday party or event and show the kids all kinds of creepy crawlers! Huge hit with the kids, my daughter has seen them at school and loves it. Great for the kid who loves reptiles and insects, something they’ll remember forever.

Great Big Adventure – Opening soon, over 12,000 square feet of kid friendly fun! Lots of neat stuff for the kids to do, and even a nice area for the parents to hang out and relax in! Sounds good to me!

Jack Pott’s Thrill Zone – formerly Ruckers, lots of great party options and they’re Pirate themed. Lots of games for the kids to play, and prizes of course.

KidCity – 2 locations for this one, huge indoor play area for the kids, with a lot of activities to do. This was the hot spot this year for sure, and it’s a great way to throw a big party and keep the kids busy and happy.

If I’ve missed any of your favourites for Winnipeg, post them up in the comments, or if you’re a local company email me to be added to the complete list.

  1. You can always check out My Gym Winnipeg, they have great birthday party’s. Only thing is if you want guest to see your child open up the gifts, you need to book an extra half hour. My 3 year loved it.

  2. The Zoo has that indoor playground and does birthday parties there; McDonald’s play areas can be rented out for birthday parties; Community centres, such as Earl Grey CC where Ride and Play is held; Wellness Institute & Rady Centre have Children’s Party; Bowling alleys.

  3. Great list of places! Theres also the Golf Dome! We had my sons 6th bday there this year. Its very reasonably priced! Theres no actually package choice, its a per child rate of $10/kid. One round of mini golf, they got hot dogs, popcorn, chips and drinks. There was a party booth right next to the arcade. If you book there just make sure you bring a bag of quarters and loonies for the arcade, the kids had a blast!

    • Hi michelle, do you mind how much did you pay for the place where the parties are? did you provide your own food and decor? because I’m looking a venue for my 1st bday daughter. Thanks.

  4. U-Putz is a great mini golf place, with a private room for birthday parties.
The Rady centre offers great birthday parties, with a huge list of activities, jack using a climbing wall and bouncers. The Centre is Kosher a so food has to be purchased through their restaurant.
I work for the military and the gym on 17 Wing also has great birthday parties, with the gym, the pool or the movie theatre. You do not have to work there or be a member to book.

  5. Bowling is always a hit with the kids!! Most lanes are very reasonable. Steinbach pool is outside of city limits, but also a great place to home a party. (Pan Am pool used to be a well). Most hotels offer pool parties (you don’t have to be a guest). We rented out Woodhaven CC and had dress up, crafts, music and cupcake decorating. Full kitchen to use and tons of room!

  6. I will always recommend Earl Grey Community Centre. I had my son’s 1st and 3rd birthday parties there (they were booked up for his 2nd bday), and I am having his 4th bday party there in February. They are well priced and provides toys for kids of all ages. You also have the option to rent a bouncer.

  7. Holiday Inn Airport West has a 3 storey indoor play structure that kids go crazy for. They have a few different birthday party packages too. Some include food and a birthday party room to use to eat and open gifts depending on what you want and your budget. They don’t have much info listed online but they have a person in charge of strictly birthday parties at the hotel who is super friendly and will answer any questions if you call!

  8. Thunder Rapids is a great party place. $10.95 per kid gets you three activities (go-cats, mini-golf, bumper boats).

  9. Silver Heights Archery Lanes, The Golf Dome, The Aviation Museum, St. James Bowling Lanes and Academy Lanes West are some other good (and reasonably priced) party venues.

  10. We did Adrenaline Adventures for my daughter’s 9th birthday this past March.. it was a HUUUUUGE hit and definitely reasonably priced!!! 😀

  12. We did Fun With Composers for my daughter’s 4 th birthday. It was so much fun. Nicole dresses up in different costumes (they have a couple of themes) and she keeps the kids busy for the entire time with crafts, stories and dancing. We did the Bugsy theme & we bought bee & ladybug wings at the dollar store for the kids to dress up for the dance. Super cute. You won’t be disappointed!

  13. We celebrated our daughter’s 8th birthday with Pandora Style Birthday Party! It was SOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!!! The girls said it was the best birthday party they have ever attended! Our daughter felt so special! Their new bracelets were an absolute hit next day at school and they did not stop to talk about them. I received a free bracelet and beads as well! Very attractive piece of jewelry 🙂 Many parents asked me for the phone number . It’s
