Sobeys has Dollar Days this week – this was one of my tips for saving money on groceries this year, stock up during this promotion, always a lot of great deals!
Weekend only deals are bread 2 for $3, bacon for $3 and Kellogg’s certain cereals are $3 – 345g to 1.35kg boxes.
Rest of the week they have Primo soup, beans and tomatoes. This is a great one to stock up on, so many possibilities and always good to have in the pantry. They have carrots, onions and celery for $1 each – those and the primo would make some good soups, chilis etc.
Lots of other great deals on all kinds of stuff, pasta, canned items, produce etc. Sour cream, yop and more are $1, soaps and toothbrushes too. Always worth looking through the store carefully as you shop and see what sale items your family eats a lot of and stock up during this sale.
Safeway also has weekend only deals, Nabob coffee is 2 for $7, rye bread is 3 for $5, windshield washer fluid is 2 for $5. Spend $100 get 100 airmiles during weekend too.
Rest of the week they have Delissio pizzas for $5, buy 5 get 50 airmiles.
Special promo of the week is buy any 3 participating Kraft products and get a free pack of bakery counter muffins.
Airmiles event is all kinds of special K stuff – buy 5 get 50 airmiles, includes cereal, snack bars, breakfast sandwiches and shakes.
Target has their brand of frozen fruit on sale for $3. Clif or Luna bars 6 packs are on sale for $6. Certain trail mixes are on sale for $3. Foil and glad wrap are on for $1. Goldfish crackers are 2 for $4, 4L milk is $4.57. Archer Farms pizzas are on for $5 – these are our favourite frozen pizzas. Yum! They’re pretty expensive usually, so it’s a good sale if you like them.
