Things to do on Louis Riel Day and Family Day in Winnipeg
Monday Feb. 15th is Louis Riel Day in Winnipeg, Family Day across most of the rest of Canada. There’s a lot going on around the city.
- Human Rights Museum has special activities from 11am to 4pm. There’s a scavenger hunt and other family friendly activities.
- St. Boniface Museum has stuff planned from 11am to 4pm also. Crafts, music and more.
- The Childrens Museum has Franco-Fun day from 11am to 3pm. There’s special crafts, music and more.
- Festival Du Voyageur has a lot going on all weekend – and a great place to check out Monday too!
- The Forks has Community Day from 1-3pm, and Rendez Vous on Ice during several times on the weekend and Monday.
- Fort Garry Community Centre has a Winter Carnival on Sunday the 14th. Sleigh Rides, games and much more.
