Things to do during Spring Break in Winnipeg

14 Mar

Are you looking for some fun stuff to keep the kids busy during Spring Break? Here are some great activities going on around the city:

The Children’s Museum is having spring break camps, and also a special lineup for regular admission during the holiday.

The Forks is having their Festival of Fools – it runs for the whole of spring break and there will be jugglers, magicians, trapeze workshops, crafts and much more.

The Assiniboine Zoo has spring day camps from March 25th to 28th – looks like it’s filling up fast so make sure to check it out soon. Sounds like a lot of fun.

You could check out the Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library – 2 days of crafts programs.

The Wag has a Spring Break Art Camp happening – looks like a fun time for kids ages 6-10.

The Winnipeg Library has an amazing selection of programs – for teens there’s a Hunger Games afternoon, jewellery making, even an afternoon of board games! For younger kids there’s Mad Science, music, reading with raptors, arts and crafts, and also my kiddo’s favourite, Madame Diva at the St. Boniface Library on March 26th at 1030 am.

What are you planning to do during Spring Break? I didn’t realize there was so much going on in the city, should be a fun week 🙂

And if you know of other things happening around the city make sure to post them up.
