This Sunday May 25th at Assiniboine Park it’s the Teddy Bears Picnic!
Lots of fun things happening all day long – hope the weather is good for this one! One good thing at least is that there’s no need for bug spray yet – always a positive! 🙂
There’s a mainstage with shows every half hour starting at 9am, so lots of opportunity for the kids to catch some good local entertainment.
All kinds of neat exhibits and activities too – I want to be a Scientist, Bearorobics, Happy Hands craft area and much more.
There will be local police, ems and firefighters there with all kinds of safety tips and demos for the kids. Kids get to check out a police car and an ambulance.
And of course the kids can bring their teddy bears for all kinds of medical attention – eye tests, checkups, and maybe even some accident repairs!
A fun day out for the whole family – and there’s a lot of food options this year too, several food trucks and more! You can check out their site for a full map of all the events and where to go, good idea to preplan a bit, especially with show times.
