Summer Break is coming up fast and if you’re planning to put your kids in camp, now’s the time! There are a lot of choices in Winnipeg and all over Manitoba! Day camps, sleepaway camps – all kinds!
- Assiniboine Park Zoo has day camps that run weekly in July and August. They have it from nursery aged to grade 6. Great for the little animal lovers!
- University of Manitoba offers their Mini U camps weekly starting in July until the end of August. Lots of great choices there for wide age group.
- Canlan Ice Sports offers camps for hockey, ringette, flashfit kids and soccer.
- Forum Art Centre offers day camps weekly during August for ages 7 to 16.
- City of Winnipeg offers all kinds of weekly and day camps and events during the summer.
- Winnipeg Art Gallery has weekly camps from July to Mid August. Lots of choices for ages 6 to 12.
- St. Andrews Stables offers horsey day camps – can either book a full week or a few days.
- Rainbow Stage offers camps for ages 9 to 14.
- Winnipeg Gymnastics Centre has gymnastics and cheerleading camps for ages 4 to 22 – and they have half and full days available.
- Manitoba Museum has camps for ages K to grade 5. They run weekly from July 9th to end of August.
- YMCA has day camps for ages 4 to 12. Lots of choices and runs one or two weeks at a time.
- Fort Whyte Alive offers nature based camps from 4 years old to grade 8. Runs weekly all summer, but you can even get a one day spot too.
- Oak Hammock Marsh has weekly camps all summer – day spots too. For ages 6 to 9.
- MTYP offers summer theater camps for ages 5 to 19. They run weekly.
