If you’ve been to Ikea lately, you probably noticed that there are a lot of bare shelves and lots of empty spots in the displays and in the warehouse.
They’re having a lot of stock and supply chain issues.
I’ve been getting a lot messages from people saying that every item they try to go get is out of stock online, and in store and they’re not exaggerating. These are pictures I took today November 8th while there shopping.
Lots of creative placement too, I’ve been noticing that at all kinds of stores lately. They don’t have a lot of items so they just fill up a shelving unit with one item per shelf.
I was hoping to get some Christmas items, but everything I liked, l all they had left was one display model of it and no stock whatsoever. It’s too bad because they had a lot of new cute stuff. Was also hoping to grab some pear canned drinks my daughter likes…none at all, even in the food market. So, it’s a very random mix of items that they don’t have.
I guess it also really depends what you’re looking for, definitely worth checking in advance online as they are updating pretty often that way.
Good to remember that it’s not staff’s fault, and that these kind of issues are happening all over.
