Blue Orange Games has the most amazing selection of games, stuff for the whole family. I love that it’s all classic type games that you know your family will enjoy for years to come.
Spot it! is a great example of this – it’s a super simple game. Circular cards with all kinds of silly pictures on them. But there are 5 different ways to play, from super easy to more competitive – all very easy to figure out and directions are super short so no hassle when trying to figure them all out.
You match symbols on the cards to a center card for most, it’s great because the symbols are different sizes on all the cards and it’s not as easy as it looks sometimes. Makes it really exciting when you get a match – when we play the basic one we scream out our matches and it becomes fast paced and cards are flying all over.
I love how portable this game is – they’re in a nice tin that you could leave in your purse, the car etc. Game is so easy to play that kids can bring it into restaurant, or at friends or grandparents house and be playing immediately with others. You can play quieter versions too of course, so it’s a very versatile game. We’ve been having a blast with this game and have played with several friends and family members and it’s been a hit with all. Great gift idea for the family as something everyone will want to play together.
My daughter wanted to show you how to play, so here it is:
