Shopping road trip around Niverville and Steinbach

Shopping road trip around Niverville and Steinbach

If you live in or near Winnipeg and you're looking to do a little day of shopping, here's a fun little loop to do.

It doesn't take long, and there's lots of great options for stores. There's of course way more than what I went to in the one day, lots to explore in those areas.

I will try to do many different areas like this all year long, and group them together like this. If you have suggestions let me know.

I posted all of these on Facebook with a lot more photos, so check out my Facebook page if you want to see those.

I started the day at Negash coffee - This place was very highly recommended.

I got an iced coffee and a cookie. Both were very good. It's a nice cozy little shop, definitely worth checking out.

Right next door to it was the Great Canadian dollar store - another location that a lot of people told me to check out. And they were right, it's a great store. I would describe it more as a general store, there was pretty much anything you could think of in there.

There's also one in Steinbach, so add that to your list if you want. I'm going to just include a few photos, because I took about 50 pictures when I was in there. The pricing really varies, but the stuff I bought was super reasonably priced and I found things that I had been looking for and even some gifts. And I think I only spent about $20

The next stop was the Niverville MCC.

This is a great store, it's very popular and very well stocked. There's often a lineup or a big crowd at opening. All of these stores are within a few minutes of each other, so easy to to plan out.

After that you just keep going down the same road and head to New Bothwell.

The Bothwell cheese shop is always worth checking out. Always make sure to bring a cooler depending on the weather, because often you'll find some amazing deals there.

So many local products and great deals on cheese and more. Their pricing changes a lot on sales, and you'll get all kinds of different discounts. So these photos are just for example, don't expect to get the same exact sales if you go.

Next stop is nature's farm and the crusty bun in Steinbach. It's a great stop for local groceries, and also grab yourself something for lunch or a snack at the bakery. I highly recommend their ham and cheese pretzel buns.

Make sure you grab some of their amazing pasta, they have locally milled flour and so many other great products.

After that, you can pop into the MCC in Steinbach. Another great thrift store. There's also the local matters thrift store which I didn't go to this time, But it's a different kind of one to check out too.

Last stop was the super Thrift in Steinbach.

They have just moved locations, and it's a lot bigger and so well organized.

There's a lot of other great stores and restaurants around there to check out too, and very easy to get around, so you can do all of this in an afternoon or a morning easily.

Just make sure to check their websites before you go for hours etc.
