If you love to shop locally, make sure to check out the new app The Local Frequency.

It’s a pretty neat idea – download the app and head to participating local businesses. You pay using either debit or cash and you earn 3% in Local Points. Those Local points can then be redeemed at the same businesses.

They’re still adding to the businesses, but there are some really great ones so far – like Chocolatier Constance Popp, Calabria Market, Bernstein’s Deli and more!

You can download the app for free and it’s a great way to get something back for shopping locally! Make sure to let your friends and family know about it – and especially more local businesses. Great idea to support more stores in your area.

What do you think of this app? What stores and restaurants would you want to see added? And how do you plan on using your Local Points?
