Lots of great discounts available for seniors – the age varies a bit at different stores. A lot of places got rid of the perks and discounts for seniors in the last few years.
Here is the updated list for 2022:
- Michaels has 10% off regular and sale prices everyday for over 55.
- Bulk Barn has 10% off every wednesday for 65 and older.
- Shoppers Drugmart has 20% off Thursdays with pc optimum card
- M&M Meats has 10% off on tuesdays for 60 years and over
- Rexall has 20% off on Tuesdays for 55 and over
- The Bay has a special timeless discount on the first tuesday of the month – 55 and over and have to register for HBC rewards. They no longer list the discount amount on their site.
- McDonalds has 20% off on coffee or tea every day for 55 and over
- Salvation Army Thrift store has 10% off at participating stores for 60 and older
- Pet Valu has 10% off on the last Thursday of the month.
- Fabricland gives $5 off membership to seniors 55 and over
- Vita Health has 10% on everything in the store the first tuesday of the month, plus an additional 10% off regular priced supplements and natural beauty products
A lot of places have small discounts for seniors – movie theatres, art galleries, museums etc.
