Today is $1.49 day at Save On Foods across Canada.
I placed an order for delivery on Sunday and it was just delivered. I spent about $60. Here’s everything that I got below.
Some of it is obviously not the healthiest food but I have not had bologna since I was a kid, and I definitely am looking forward to trying it again. I added a few things that we just wanted that weren’t on sale too.
Also remember that I have a fridge full of groceries and freezers full so this is not like a regular full weekly shop or anything. Definitely. We are eating what we have lately, this was just a bonus on top because I wanted to take advantage of some of these deals.
I was also very fortunate this summer that we had a weekly CSA box so I have a lot of leftover veggies from that, and also from the garden.
I thought some of the deals were pretty good this week because you get stuff to make sandwiches, there’s school snacks for kids. The box of chicken I never tried before, there was about 30 drumsticks in there when I repackaged it. Lots of easy meals there with that rice too.
