Rory Gardiner: Yee-Haw! Review

8 Oct

With the long weekend coming up, and with a family like ours, we have many little road trips to be taking, hopping from one thanksgiving diner to the next. During this time in the car, we love listening to music, doing some sing a longs, humming away, and find it difficult to find kid’s songs (ages 5+) that please them all!

Well let me tell you, Rory Gardiner (a recording artist from Ottawa, Ontario) came out with his first children’s cd entitled Yee-Haw, and it was a great success! With catchy rhythms, and clear vocals there’s sure to be a song on the cd that the whole family will love and sing along to! It’s definitely a cd that I don’t mind listening to over and over again (and sometimes, even when the kids aren’t in the car….shhhh don’t tell anyone). It truly delivers uplifting and encouraging messages. I love “Don’t Ever Change” and my youngest is a “Yee-Haw” fan for sure! He just yells it out! It truly is great family fun! If you have an older child who can read like my 7 year old daughter, the cd comes old school, with a little lyric booklet they can hold to sing along with.

You can head over to his website buy some awesome country music, read all about this great Canadian artist, and check things out like future tour dates!
