You get a super cute little plush pillow, we got an owl. I tried to take a pic before the kiddo got started, I had to tear it away just for this one 🙂
She was hooked right away! This is the perfect craft for kids who aren’t sewing yet, not great at sewing, or you want a craft you don’t have to supervise like a hawk. There’s no needles, no mess, nothing scary.
It’s basically a no sew paint by number..but with little pieces of material. There’s a guide for which colour goes where, and numbered holes. You take the correct piece of material and poke it into the hole and it grips in – we haven’t had any fall out after weeks of cuddling it.
This was a lot of fun for her to make – great to have a project she could do from start to finish with no help from mom or dad. She was very proud of it after.
Could be fun too to make as gifts – let the kids craft away, then wrap up the finished project.
Something to keep them occupied once school is over, and i think it’s something a Grandma or Mom would love to receive as a present.
My daughter is already looking forward to making another one, and I’m pretty sure Santa is putting one under the tree this year! 🙂 (ok, well it’s coming from Amazon, but don’t tell her!)
