OddBunch Produce Delivery
OddBunch is a produce delivery company that sources out imperfect food and keeps it out of the landfill.
They deal with lots of locals, and it's available in several cities across Canada.
You get to choose what style of box you want, whether by size or do you want mixed produce or just fruit or just vegetables or fully organic.
Everything is a different price, and you also pay $6 for the delivery. For my delivery I knew in advance when it was coming, and in the morning I got a tracking number and I was able to follow the guy along online all day to know when it was coming.
I used one of their online promotions, and my medium mixed box was $31.59 including delivery. If you plan on ordering Get a discount on your first Odd Bunch box with my link: https://rwrd.io/ref_8LBLF8Z?s
I was really expecting the produce to be older, things to be soft or almost at the end of their lives. But everything we received was very fresh, probably even better than I would have picked out at the grocery store. We got a few more expensive items in the box, like the enoki, mushrooms, the pomelo, etc. So keep that in mind when pricing it out.
It's definitely good if you like variety or love to try new things.
I garden a lot in the summer, so I don't think I would need veggies on top every week. But I would switch to fruit, as we only grow a few things and there's not much for that. You also are able to skip a week, and also veto an item.
I received
- One bag of enoki mushrooms
- Bag of green beans
- five jalapenos
- -one living lettuce
- Three squash
- a bag of snap peas
- 2 orange peppers
- 4 green apples
- 3 pears
- 3 red onions
- 3 potatoes
- 1 pomelo
- 2 avocado
- 2 huge carrots

I think it's a great choice delivered, it is not the absolute cheapest thing out there, but it really was nice to get on a Friday afternoon and I didn't have to go to the stores for fresh stuff. For a larger family or if this was the only produce you buy, I would definitely switch to a larger box.
