If you’re like me and you’re always on the lookout for fun, economical and easy dinner ideas – Ocean’s has some great new pasta sauces to help out!
There’s 3 super authentic Italian sauces, they’re actually made right in Italy. They’re like a homemade sauce but in a jar – tastes like you spent all day on it 🙂
We tried out all 3 of these, and they were all big hits. You can either just use them like that, or try many of the recipes that they have. These sauces are so rich and flavorful you can do a very simple pasta and sauce, but it tastes like you did a lot more! And because it’s such a hearty sauce, it stretches out a lot further which is a great savings right there!
All 3 are very different from each other. Arrabiata is know as the angry sauce – it’s a big spicier and bolder with a lot of garlic and herbs. Puttanesca is full of olives and capers – great thickness and a big crowd pleaser. Siciliana is made from sundried tomatoes and that flavour really comes through. Big kid favourite for sure!
I like that all 3 have only ingredients I know and can pronounce, I like the versatility and difference of each sauce – these are a pantry staple for sure, for so many reasons. Great for a quick dinner, or plan out a recipe and try something new. I like that they really tell you all the ingredients, if there’s any allergens, and all the product features for each sauce – very transparent and something you can feel good preparing for the family. Also from experience, makes a delicious parent only meal later with a glass of wine 🙂 So authentic, can’t wait to do some big outdoor pasta dinners this summer, so fun!
