Here is the statement from Safeway -no deal today.

I’m so disappointed that Safeway (& sobey’s) have discontinued their Monday Twitter deals. We looked forward to seeing the new deals and often trying new products. We’d have the deal for a one night supper that week or save for a later day but they were always good….hopefully Safeway will reconsider and bring this deal back for their customers!
When I reached out to customer support regarding my disappointment on seeing the Twitter deal suspended, this is the response I received.
“Hello,
Thank you for contacting Customer Care regarding the Twitter Deal.
At this time we are currently reevaluating the Twitter deal program and at this time it has been cancelled until further notice. Unfortunately, we do not have any more information as to why this has been cancelled. Keep checking Twitter for any updates to what will happen with the Twitter Deal.”
I will be quite sad to see it gone. I always looked forward to a new week with a new deal.
