It’s that time of year, where we hear about what awesome movies will be playing at outside at Assiniboine Park for the month of August!
They have released the information, and I figured I’d post it up, for an awesome and quick reference guide.

August 1st
7pm – The Croods
9:15pm – Divergent
August 8th
7pm – The Lego Movie
9:15pm – The Amazing Spiderman 2
August 15th
7pm – Despicable Me 2
9:15pm – Skyfall
August 22nd
7pm – Frozen
9:15pm – The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
Bring sweaters & mosquito repellent, your chairs, blankets, snacks, warmer clothing just in case it gets chilly and make it a nice family night out, or throw together a quick picnic and make it a romantic picnic and movie in the park 🙂
I enjoy making it a family affair. We invite our niece and nephew out with us, get a picnic dinner going, play some fun games and run around with our heads cut off laughing, before settling in for a movie. As the movie comes to an end, we crack open some fun glow sticks! If we decide to stay for the later movie, we are sure to bring markers and coloring books, along with some other quiet activities to help the kids wind down 🙂
