Every Friday night in August at Assinboine Park there will be outdoor movies!
First one at 7pm, second movie at 9:15 pm.
- August 5th the Good Dinosaur and Jurassic World
- August 12th Zootopia and The Force Awakens
- August 19th Inside Out and Footloose
- August 26th Kung Fu Panda and Spectre
You can bring a lawn chair or blanket, bring snacks and lots of bug spray! Perfect to head down early too for a picnic – or make it part of a birthday party or girls night out or even a date night!

We had my kids birthday party at one of the movies last year, it was so much fun
This is a wonderful family-community event. Can I suggest to whomever organizes that sections are created for those sitting in chairs vs blankets. Maybe far right side can be chairs then the rest as often we can’t see the screen!

Usually blankets are at the front, chairs at the back – but a line and a sign would go far for those who can’t comprehend that 😉
