Markdown Monday Dates at Costco for 2017 and a how to!

If you’re a Costco shopper and looking to cut costs for 2017, make sure to start shopping on Markdown Mondays.

It’s every fourth Monday (not every fourth Monday of the month, just simply every fourth Monday) and there are many items throughout the store super marked down. You will find these by looking for anything marked down to .97 – there’s no other indication. But, you can look for the crowds, especially in the clothing. If you can’t make it when the store opens, send a friend or family member with your sizes. And the nice part is that anything that doesn’t fit can be returned to Costco also.

They do this at stores across Canada – but you have to be there the minute the store opens to get the really hot deals. And the sales vary from store to store, you can’t go to one location and expect the markdown Monday deals from another store. We have found deals on clothing, shoes, housewares, food, holiday items…..pretty much every category in the store. The deals move fast, and there’s no restocking on these, so you can’t go Tuesday and expect to find much, if anything left of these.

I found my best deals of the year on Markdown Mondays – jackets for $8.97, kids shoes for $6.97 – and lots of household items I had my eye on anyway! Was great for holiday shopping, but also for food and things you’d normally need.
