Manitoba Open Farm Day 2017

30 Aug

If you’re looking for something fun to do in September, Manitoba Open Farm day is happening on Sunday September 17th. There are 47 host farms/sites this year, and it’s spread out all over so lots to see and do all over the province.

Good idea to check it out now and see what your family would be interested in seeing, and also if you can check out other stuff in the area too! Another fun idea is to try to combine it with a Fall Supper in Manitoba.

It’s well set up on a map, pick an area you want to head to (or live in) and see what’s happening. You can check out dairy farms, upicks, ranches, breweries, sheep, honey and much much more! All kinds of museums too!

Once you pick your spots, check out the hours, fees and any special info you need to know.  A fun way to check out the province and all kinds of farms you’d normally not have access to.

Which places are you planning on checking out? Have you gone to any in past years that you’d recommend?
