If you’re a big fan of fall suppers, or looking for something new to do – the list is out!
If you’ve never been to one, it’s a lot of fun. Pick a town or a date that works for you and head out somewhere new! The meals are amazing – turkeys, hams, potatoes, all kinds of salads – and the desserts! Most have a gigantic selection of pies!
Buy a ticket, pick a table and get to know some new folks! Most people go to the ones in their own towns of course, but you can also just do it as a little adventure. We’ve had lots of fun heading to different areas to check them out.
And if you’re a fan of pies, it’s worth it just for that!
Thanks to Orest who puts together this great lit every year – check out his website for all of the fall suppers in Manitoba! The list is just starting, so keep an eye on it. Some of the places sell out pretty quickly too, for certain seatings so keep an eye on tickets and how you get them. One thing I like is that there’s often several seatings, so if you’re driving out you can really preplan that into your day. Look up what else is in the area, turn it into a fun roadtrip!
Let me know which ones are your favourite – and what the best food you’ve had at one! My favourite thing was trying out a few different pumpkin pies, all made by different people so it was really varied in flavour and colour. And also, chocolate pudding pie, which I hadn’t had since I was young!
Love all the community spirit at these fall suppers, great Manitoba vibe!
