It’s pretty shocking how many stores have closed at St. Vital Centre.
We hadn’t been in many months, I can’t remember the last time we were there, to the point where I couldn’t even think of what was in a lot of these spots. I know some of these closed earlier in the year, but I think quite a few are recent.
Ardene’s moved to another end of the mall, and where they were is empty too. Lots of that happening it seems.
Hopefully there are a lot of new stores planning to move in. Or something big in the works.
OMG! This is so sad, and I feel especially for all the staff of these businesses though the business owners certainly deserve sympathy too. We’re living in very challenging times and those displaced still have bills to pay and mouths to feed. The economic impact of COVID ranks not far behind the human tragedies of death and suffering.
