Since there was no school today for the kiddo we decided to start our Kidsfest weekend early! The weather was great, not too hot, a nice breeze and we had a blast!
There’s tons to see and do at Kidsfest – there are tons of performers every day, you can check the scheduele on their site. When you’re there, there’s a board with all the info and also a program so you can really follow along. There’s also tons of activities set up for the kids, lots of crafts, face painting, sports stuff and much more.
I like that it’s so family friendly, there’s stroller parking areas, lots of room for the kids to sit around, places to sit down and take a break. We ate our lunch on the hill with many others enjoying the view and relaxing a bit. It’s nice that you can either bring in your own food, or try out some fun food trucks set up. Lots of great treats!
We took in several shows today – and since my daughter’s big dream is to make youtube videos she was my mini reporter today after watching the performances. She planned out her own questions, along with a few from the children of members of our facebook group for fun! Here are the interviews she got today.
Will Stroet is such an amazing performer! Lots of great songs, really gets the kids up and moving around – we watched his show twice today!
And what can you say about Al Simmons? The total kids performer, great act and so many neat things to his show.
