If you’re looking to add some crazy family fun to your summer – check out the great line of water toys from Hasbro/Nerf.
The super soaker we got was almost as big as my daughter!! This thing is meant for some serious water fights! It hold over 2 litres of water and there’s 3 settings on it too – perfect for misting yourself on a hot day, or shooting at targets up to 38 feet away.
My daughter has been loving when daddy comes home from work – she hides in the yard and waits patiently, and then launches a full on attack! Somehow you take out water toys like this and everyone turns into a big kid – I got home on the weekend to find my mom pointing it at us when we walked into the yard!
I like that you can use this one for some crazy fights, but it’s also strong enough to knock things off – we lined up a bunch of stuff across the yard and had a competition – lots of fun when you don’t want to get soaked. But yes, most of the time we’ve all ended up soaked head to toe! Perfect with our crazy hot summer days!
The other one we got is the Nerf Rebelle Dolphina Bow Blaster. It looks exactly like the dart one we got, but this one shoots water!
This one is just adorable. Perfect for smaller water fights, for kids who maybe don’t want to be totally soaked or get hit with a harder stream of water.
Super easy to use, you just push and pull the handle to load and shoot out the water. This one holds less water too, so it’s not as heavy. The super soaker is super heavy when it’s full, the Rebelle one is lighter so better for smaller kids running around and doing tricks.
I love this line too, the colours are cute and it’s just a different vibe too. Makes kids think they’re great with bow and arrows etc.
Hasbro has a gigantic line of Nerf water toys – there’s something for every age group and size too, from smaller handheld ones to gigantic Supersoakers and tons of really neat accessories.
People are always wondering what to get for kids for their birthdays, or just to keep them busy in the summer – well this is it!
My daughter will play alone outside just wetting the plants, the fence, shooting plastic toys off chairs etc. and they’re also amazingly fun as a group. Perfect family night activity! They’re available at all local stores, and for the price vs. the fun you get – these are my new go to gift idea for summer!
How can you say no to fun like that? Turn it into a costume party and let the kids go crazy – it’s just water after all!
