I remember going to see the Globetrotters as a kid, it was a fun family day and I was super excited to take my own daughter to their game in Winnipeg a few weeks ago.

Their new tour is the Fans Rule Tour – which means that before the game fans get to vote on what they want to see during the game, certain trick shots etc.  Made it really interactive and fun.

We had a blast at the game – my daughter loved it! So much happening, it’s like a whirlwind of activity and fun. There’s really something for everyone, some amazing basketball feats, lots of dancing, comedy, audience participation – it’s like being at a big interactive show. Some parts really wowed my kid, like where they do an instant replay – everyone does everything in reverse, then in slow motion – it was hilarious, and really well done! My husband and I had a great time too – nice to go to an event that is really geared to the whole family.

There’s even a new special dance that Mark Ballas from Dancing with the Stars helped them create just for this show!

globieYou never know what you’ll see at a game.  Globetrotters rookie Thunder Law recently made the longest basketball shot ever on World Record Day.  You have to see this video!

We had a lot of fun watching videos on Youtube before going – my daughter really wanted to be ready for the game!

This Fans Rule tour will be hitting 250 cities across the U.S. and Canada – check their site for ticket info and remember to use the promo code PTPA to save $7 off each ticket!!

And to keep up with the fun remember to follow them on twitter and facebook!

Do you have any great memories from seeing the Harlem Globetrotters as a kid? Or from now taking your own kids?
