Hallmark movies filmed in Manitoba

Hallmark has been filming movies for many years in Manitoba – but in the last few years it has really taken off – not only Christmas movies, but Fall movies and the rest of the year too.

These are always fun to watch to see which places you recognize, also so many locals in them as extras too. Also fun to see how they change places to seem American – flags everywhere and changing the names of businesses etc.

The movies are cheesy and silly – but can be pretty relaxing to watch too. I find the last year or two they’ve changed things up a lot and the stories are quite different than before. Not quite as formulaic – but still enjoyable to watch.

These are the new ones for 2021 – 2022, I will post where you can watch them and when as much as I can on facebook so make sure to follow along there too. Some have already aired earlier in the year, but I’m including them because they’ll probably repeat again soon.

These ones are from previous years – they often replay them so keep an eye out for them. Lots of great ones!
