If you want to save some money on your Hydro bill, make sure to request a free kit from Hydro!
The kit will save you on average $60 a year which is great, just a few changes you’d have to make.
The kit includes 1 or 2 low flow shower heads, you get to choose wall mounted or hand held, 2 bathroom faucet aerators, 1 kitchen aerator and a few other money saving items.
There are some requirements for ordering it, you can’t have had one before at your current address, have to have a hydro account, year round residency etc. You can find out more and order your own kit on their site. Just a few quick changes can really add up!
It would be nice if they could provide one every so many years(5 or 6). The shower heads and
the low flow items for the taps wear our or just break as they are not the best quality.
The items I mentioned broke or all worn out after a few years and it’s only me in the home.
Also, not likely, since Hydro is billions of dollars in the hole and 900 to be laid off.
