This Saturday March 31st from 9am to 4pm at the Canadian Mennonite University North Campus it’s the 5th annual Gardening Saturday! Who knew gardening was so popular? My husband had been telling me how gardening follows fashion and I thought he was kidding – it’s true! The hot colour this year is orange – and there’s all kinds of other neat trends that are happening in the garden/fashion world! đŸ™‚
Check out the Gardening Saturday site, it’s full on info about classes, vendors etc. For anyone who loves gardening this will be a really fun day! I’m looking forward to the eat local grow local market! I’m also thinking of doing some container gardening this year too to expand our space and harvest – our real garden grows zucchini so well I’d like to plant a bunch extra to share this year! I’m going to do all of our lettuce etc. in pots to save that space.
