Garage sales this weekend!
Lots of garage sales coming up, and here’s a good tip if you’re having one. Did an informal poll in our facebook group and 100% of people prefer the items to be priced in advance, not left up to them to decide a price – unless it’s for charity. Also, make sure you’ve got good signs up to make it easy to find, Dollarama sells small ones with arrows right on them. They even sell price stickers already labeled – so easy! What are your best tips for a successful garage sale? And any do’s and don’ts?
– Ile Des Chenes is having a community garage sale May 25th from 9am to 2pm. You can pick up a map of participating homes at the second hand store in town called Back in store.
– Phoenix U12 boys fundraiser. Many families are raising monies to help pay for costs for the boys to attend the usa cup(internationals soccer tournament) in minneapolis in July. We are hosting a Multi-Family Yard sale/ BBQ. Saturday May 25 9am – 3pm at Anderson Park 900 Raleigh St.
– Saturday and Sunday from 9-3 in the gates in Armstrongs point across from the Misericordia hospital. 100 middle gate is participating and has lots of boys clothes size 18-24m some toys and some other household items. There should be lots of houses participating between the three streets in the gates!
– 70 Hollington Road – Lindenwoods on Friday, May 24, 4:00 – 7:00 pm and Saturday May 25, 9:00 – 3:00 pm Multifamily garage sale. Stampin’ Up!, rubber stamps, craft supplies, paper, scrapbooking supplies. Housewares, DVD box sets, children’s toys, and more
– I am also having a yard sale this weekend! Saturday from 8am to 4pm (sunday in case of rain) – come on by at 459 Ritchot st. in St. Boniface, between DesMeurons and Tache. We are putting up several signs so follow the arrows 🙂 A big selection of stuff, a 3 family one. Household stuff, books, wii games. And a big blowout of my daughter’s clothes from age 4-7, lots of Gymboree, Gap etc. and they’re all $1 a piece! Lots of puzzles, games and a lot of stuff is brand new with tags, things I’ve held onto for one reason or another and it’s time for them to go now!
