The free movies at the Lyric theatre in Assiniboine park are back for 2021!
It’s a free outdoor event every Friday night in August, two movies every week. The early feature is at 6:30, late at 8:45. You can check out the new rules and restrictions for 2021 on their website. Good idea to follow them on social media also, in case there’s cancellations due to rain etc.
Make sure to bring your blankets or lawn chairs, bug spray etc.
– Friday August 6th is the original 1994 Lion King and then Jurassic world fallen Kingdom.
– August 13th is Spider-Man into the spider-verse and then Iron Man.
– August 20th is Zootopia and then Pirates of the Caribbean dead Man’s chest.
– August 27th is Onward and then is Star Wars the rise of Skywalker.
