On June 14th and 15th, it’s a great time to get out and try some fishing! There will be no license required for fishing, just make sure to check the limits on that type of fish if you get really lucky! There’s also no fee this weekend for provincial parks!
There’s also a contest where you can email in your photos and be entered to win some prizes! All the info is on the government site – good idea to keep an eye on those limits.
What a fun way to get out and try something new too – if you don’t have fishing gear ask around, there’s enough time to borrow some or check out some sales. And if you’re not into fishing you can still just enjoy the provincial parks for free.
