Five Fun things to check out this Fall in Manitoba!
It’s that wonderful time of the year again where the leaves are changing and the air is getting crisper – and there’s so much fun stuff to do in Manitoba! Winter will be here soon enough, so grab a Pumpkin Spice latte, a cozy sweater and check some of these out!
Here are some of my favourites, make sure to let me know yours in the comments!
- Fall Suppers! So fun, affordable and a great way to see some new towns and eat lots of different foods! There are quite a few right in Winnipeg, or head out of town. Did I mention there’s tons of pies there! Yum! If you’ve never been to one, go try one out. Sit with some locals, meet new people – it’s a great Manitoba Tradition.
- Go check out a Corn Maze or a pumpkin patch. Always a lot of fun, a nice walk and maybe a bit of an adventure if you get lost. Bring home some pumpkins and roast the seeds, make a nice soup or even a pie! We’re lucky to have so many of these in Manitoba, and makes for an affordable family day out. Most even have extras, like hay rides, petting zoos and more.
- Check out something scary this fall! There are so many haunted events, here’s my full list of Spooky Places in Manitoba. Most have family friendly stuff during the day – but a good scare is a great kick off to Fall!
- Craft Shows and Sales – another Fall tradition in Manitoba. They are popping up all over the city, and outside the city. Great way to get a start on some holiday shopping too and pick up some really personal gifts. And there’s always yummy treats too.
- Culture Days and Nuit Blanche – another great event during Fall – runs Sept. 29th to Oct. 1st all around the province. All kinds of neat events to check out, art installations and more. Head out of town and check some out – and enjoy all the lovely scenery at this time of the year too. Most are free, or very reasonably priced too, so you can do a bunch of them.
