With this insanely cold weather we’ve been having – what’s better than getting your favourite meal delivered right to you door?
If you haven’t used Skip The Dishes yet, it’s a new type of food delivery. Check out their site, put in your postal code and pick a restaurant and order – you can choose the delivery time, they update you by email and the food shows up at your door. If you prepay online the doorbell rings and the food is handed over – my new favourite way of ordering! You can even prepay the tip, which is great if you’re sending it to someone else.
This is also a really good service to send to a friend or family member for a celebration, if people are sick or just crazy busy as a treat.
One fun thing a lot of parents do is order themselves a fancy dinner for after the kids have gone to sleep – no need to pay for a sitter that way.
We actually ordered Booster Juice one day when we were all sick – everyone felt horrible and it was the perfect pick me up. You can also order soups and things like that in case your family gets hit with the flu.
Also fun to preorder for a gathering or an office – or for a last minute dinner if you had no time to get ready. Lots of possibilities, and the best part is there’s a great selection to choose from.
