Summer is coming and if you’re looking for something to keep the kids not only busy – but active and engaged, check out the Summer Camps at Flying Squirrel.
The camp runs weekly Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm. Prices are super reasonable too – just $150 for the week! You can get discounts on extra kids and also pay extra to really extend the day which is awesome!
It runs for 9 weeks and they actually break the kids off into age groups too. Each group will have 20 kids and it’ll be 4-5 years old, 6-8 years old and 9 to 14 years old. Great way for kids to burn off some energy, learn new skills and spend the day making new friends. I love that they separate the kids into teams within their age groups and then compete for the Golden Acorn Cup. Sounds like a fun adventure for them and some good team spirit and competition.
The instructors will teach the kids age appropriate games, activities and challenges and encourage and active lifestyle and cooperation with other kids.
Campers can bring their own lunch or buy one there – and grip socks are included in the price.
As a mom I love a good itinerary too – I like that they’ve broken the day down in nice time chunks. Kids get a generous lunch hour and snack breaks also.
Happy to say I have a one week attendance to give away to one lucky kid for the Winnipeg location! Giveaway is open to any Canadian over 18, but you have to come to Winnipeg for the camp and the camper must be from 4 to 14 years old.
