The CP Holiday Train will soon be travelling the country providing some fun entertainment, holiday spirit – and of course encouraging people to donate to their local food banks!!
There’s actually 5 stops in Manitoba starting Dec. 3rd. ! First in Whitemouth, then Winnipeg, Portage, Brandon and then Virden so a lot of opportunities to see it close to home for many!
You can find all the times and specific info on their website – the food collected in Winnipeg is going to Winnipeg Harvest so remember to bring a lot! 🙂 And also a good idea to check the list for their top 10 items.
Great free family outing, for a good cause and a perfect way to kick off the Holidays. Great for train enthusiasts, but since it’s about 1000 feet long and there’s 14 decorated cars travelling the country I think that would impress even the Grinch! 🙂
