*”””*Costco has now apparently cancelled the hours listed below….
I’ll update with more changes as they come.
For now Costco will maintain the hours they’ve been running, opening at 8 a.m. Monday to Friday for seniors and then 9 a.m. for everyone else.
But as of July 27th, the new store hours will be Monday to Friday 9am to 8:30pm for everyone. Saturday is 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m..
There will still be seniors hours, but as of July 27th also it’ll be an ongoing thing on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8 to 9 a.m. That hour is strictly for members who are 60 and over or have physical disabilities.
We, along with so many other seniors, have been extremely grateful for the early hour set aside for us & thank you for continuing this practice. We would like to see Monday included as well as Tuesday & Thursday if possible, but also realize this might not be feasible. It would be ideal if the senior hour would continue permanently— even after the pandemic is over.
The earlier starting time for the rest of the week, except Sunday, is also a very good idea.
What about essential services? After working all day, getting a break to come in and shop and not have to wait is wonderful. I have health issues and your Tuesday/Thursday for seniors aren’t the best days for me to come in early as I’m helping someone with intellectual disabilities at those times. I do my best to make their lives better each and every day.
