The year is coming to a close, just a few more Markdowns left – great time to start planning for those next year and mark them on your own calendars too. You can check back to this during the year as I will update with any changes.
And remember that these can also be changed due to holidays etc.
If you’re new to Markdown Mondays at Costco – it’s the best day to shop there! It happens every 4th Monday, they discount a ton of items all across the store. You won’t notice as easily because there’s no reduction or highlighting – it will just be a tag ending in .97. Anything with that means it’s a markdown and once it’s gone, it’s gone.
If you want to get the best deals, go early on Mondays. Some stuff might not sell out so you’ll see them later in the week, but all the super hot deals are gone pretty quickly.
It’s worth checking the calendar, see if it matches a day off – it’s a great time to do a big stock up. There’s usually a lot of clothes on sale, household goods, toys, bathroom type items and food too of course.
It happens at all Costco’s across Canada – and if an item goes on Markdown that you bought in the last 30 days, go back with your receipt for an adjustment, as long as the item is still in stock. I find it really worth keeping my receipts in my purse for 30 days from Costco, just for that.
So, here is the end of 2019, and all of the Markdown Monday dates for 2020 also! If the store ends up being closed on one of those mondays, it just falls to the tuesday. I will update those all year round. And make sure to check out all of my posts about the Markdowns every month too!
