The Spring Giveaway weekend for the City is coming up, May 14th and 15th.
It’s a great time to clean out the garage and basement and give away some items that are still good – find them a new home 🙂
Make sure to label the items as free, and to put away any items that you aren’t giving away so there’s no confusion.
You can read all the formal rules on the city’s website – just make sure to be aware it’s happening even if you’re not participating. There are always missing items during the weekend, good idea to mark it on the calendar.
may i also add to please make sure that the appliances like tv are still in good working condition. we got a tv last year from a famous place in the south area but when we got home and my husband tested it and it nearly got burned. meaning something was wrong with it. and could cause trouble.
