The City will be auctioning off a lot of bikes this weekend, looks like close to 800 of them! It’s a 2 day sale at 4230 Ridgewood ave, starting at 9 am on saturday the 28th. (viewing starts at 7am). On Sunday the 29th the viewing starts at 10am and auction starts at noon. You can see the whole list of bikes on their site – says bikes will be sold in random order and they’re sold as is of course.
Has anyone ever been to a bike auction? What are the prices like? Seems like could be a whole day event if they’re out of order.
