Chicken Soup for the Soul, Inspiration for the Young at Heart – Review and Giveaway

Great new book from Chicken Soup for the Soul, Inspiration for the Young at Heart. It’s geared toward those over sixty, great book for a retiree! It’s 101 stories of inspiration, humour and wisdom about life at a certain age. Lots of great sections in this one: new adventures, turning back the clock, never too late for romance, who are you calling old? etc.  I really liked “Another Mega-sized Idea” by Ernie Witham, a hilarious story about Costco being like a retirement community.

I’m definitely not in the target market for this book, but found myself really enjoying a lot of the stories! I think my mom will really enjoy it, and as a baby boomer she’s the perfect age to identify with most of the stories. Makes a fun gift too, lots of quick reads and funny stories! Learn how to deal with a retiring husband, new adventures to try, and following new passions! Perfect time to try out all the things you had put off doing!

Thanks to Chicken Soup 2 lucky people will each be winning their own copy of Inspiration for the Young at Heart. To enter, comment with why you want this book or who you would give it to. Contest open to all Canadians and will end tuesday Nov. 2nd at noon. Good Luck to everyone!
