If you’re looking for something fun to do this Canada Day long weekend, here are some good ones:
– The Forks is having a big party, family friendly stuff all day from 1-11pm. Concerts, crafts, entertainment all day long, and then the fireworks at 11!
– Assiniboine Park is having CanadDay Picnic in the Park. Concerts, cake, activities for the whole family and much more – and fireworks too of course!
– Assiniboia Downs is having a family event too at 12:30, pony rides, bouncers and a petting zoo!
– St Norbert Farmers market is having a Canada Day event too – face painting, pony rides, animal ballons by Floyd the Clown etc. And fireworks too!
– Osborne Village Biz is having a 2 day party too – bouncers, games, music, fashion show and much more!
If you know of any other fun activities going on around the city, post them up in the comments 🙂
This is a great list!
Another to add would be the Canada Day Living Flag at the Legislative Grounds (Broadway at Osborne). Everyone is invited to sport a red or white t-shirt and come out to be a part of the country’s largest living flag. July 1 from 9:30 – noon.
